The most compelling Still Life’s are those with a strong, yet simple composition. A carefully balanced and bathed in dramatic light and shadow, make the image a center of attraction. Objects thoughtfully placed and well-lit can create a feeling of meaning well beyond what that would have in everyday life.

A good Still – life, shows the balance of objects placed, shows a slice of life and a thoughtful structure for the audience to see and relate to it. The warmth that inanimate objects can play on the minds with beautiful colours, shows what the artist wants the audience to see.
